Our Diversity Statement
ArtsWestchester is committed to advancing policies and practices that support diversity, equity, inclusiveness and pluralism, and counts its commitment to diversity as a core value. As a result, we seek to become increasingly diverse at all levels of our operations: board, staff, procedures and practices, programs and services; members, audience and participants.
As Westchester County’s designated agency for arts and culture throughout the county and as a grants-making organization responsible for distributing public funds, ArtsWestchester also seeks to support the local not-for-profit cultural organizations to more fully realize their diversity goals.
We define diversity broadly, referring not only to ethnicity, race and nationality but to encompass socio-economic status, gender, sexual orientation, religion, marital status, disabilities.
