Slam Poetry Event: War Words

Participants in the museums’ slam poetry workshops will gather to perform among family friends, and other excited listeners. more >less >
Writers gather to perform poems about the impact of war on their lives, their families and friends. The poets, will read one poem each, and then the spotlight will be turned on the audience, who can participate in an Open Mic for poets who want to share their war-themed poems.
Master of Ceremonies is SlamMaster Eric ZORK Alan.
*All participants are encouraged to tour the Hudson River Museum’s Westchester Women & War exhibition.
