Windows to the Past

Windows to the Past is the newest public art mural by artist Richard Haas, renowned for his use of trompe l’oeil, finely wrought detail and references to places of historic significance. It complements ArtsWestchester's role as steward of a historic property, inviting viewers to consider how architecture defines public space and shapes our sensibilities. The mural also reminds us how easily buildings of beauty and of importance to community life can be lost.
