Volunteer
ArtsWestchester has many volunteer opportunities. Whether you are a student, a young professional, or a community member with an interest in the arts, volunteering at ArtsWestchester is a wonderful way to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Choose whichever one suits you…
Special Events volunteers assist at our major fundraising events, especially at the annual gala in November, attended by all the movers and shakers in Westchester! You can help as an auction assistant, raffle ticket seller, gift bag stuffer, and more. To learn more about becoming an event volunteer, please contact Vanessa Hadox at vhadox@artswestchester.org.
Arts Ambassadors are community volunteers who value the arts and understand the role the arts play in improving education, enriching lives, and building communities. Arts Ambassadors visit programs funded by ArtsWestchester, including arts-in-education residencies at schools and community sites, affiliate concerts and performances in order to provide important feedback. For more information about becoming an Arts Ambassador, please contact Ruth Katz at (914) 428-4220 x308.
Gallery sitters and ushers. See the show while taking tickets, answering questions, and greeting guests. Contact Kathleen Reckling at kreckling@artswestchester.org for more information about helping out in our gallery and performance space.
Internships are available for special projects, administrative work and often, class credit.
