The nonprofit arts and culture industry is not only important to the quality of life in Westchester, it’s also important to its economic well-being. According to the findings of the Arts & Economic Prosperity IV study produced by the Americans for the Arts, in 2010, Westchester’s arts and culture sector:
• Pumped more than $156.44 million into the county’s economy
• Produced 4,800 jobs
• Returned $23.17 million to local and state government
