The Hudson River Museum, founded in 1919, reaches out to broaden the cultural horizons of its visitors. The Museum\'s location overlooking the Hudson River and the Palisades is distinguished by a 75-year history and vibrant, multifaceted programming that makes it unique among regional cultural institutions. Its interests encompass and connect art, history and science. Utilizing Glenview, a historic home listed on the National Register of Historic Places; art galleries; a planetarium; and a permanent environmental gallery, all located on its campus, visitors experience the past, present, and future.

- The Hudson River Museum is a cultural complex that includes art galleries, a planetarium, a historic river home, and a permanent environmental gallery. It provides interpretation of cultural and historical topics through exhibitions; educational programming on its campus and with museum/school partnerships; astronomy; and cultural programs for a spectrum of ages throughout the year. Offerings: Cultural programs for seniors; programs for visiting schools groups; docent tours, public programs on weekends and holidays;weekend planetarium shows and science programs on Sundays.
