The Friends of the North Castle Public Library is an organization consisting of volunteers whose mission is to help the Library achieve its maximum usefulness and benefit to the community as its informational and cultural center.
In addition to the Art Show, the Friends provide cultural programs that include film series, community theatre, concerts and lectures.

- Program Description
- This year, the Library's main fundraiser, the Armonk Outdoor Art Show, is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday, September 24th and 25th, 10am-5pm. The show is consistently rated among to top art shows in the nation. Along with 185 juried artists, the festivities include live music, artist demonstrations, docent tours, children's activities, an art-oriented treasure hunt and expansive food court. The diverse array of art includes oils, watercolors, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, glass, photography, mixed media and more. There's something for every taste and budget.
