Funding Opportunities for Artists & Organizations
Arts Alive Grant
Arts Alive grants is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program (DEC) of New York State Council on the Arts
The deadline has now passed. Please check back for this year’s deadline date.

Arts Alive Artist Grants provide direct support to artists to create original new work that incorporates the community as context. Projects must be initiated by the artist and reflection of the community must be integral to the project and to the creative process.
Arts Alive Project Grants support arts & cultural programs at the community level. First time applicants are most competitive. Artists must apply in tandem with a fiscal agent organization.
Music Therapy Grant
ArtsWestchester administers this specially funded opportunity on behalf of the Westchester County Board of Legislators. The grants, which are awarded through a competitive process, increase access to high quality music therapy services.

Calendar Listing Deadlines for Upcoming Issues of Arts News are due the 10th day prior to the month of publication (ie: June 2011 is due May 10). If you haven’t already posted them to the website, please do so to ensure inclusion in the printed paper. The deadline is scheduled the same as is has been in the past, the only change is you should have the events posted by this date. Upcoming issues of Arts News will include events posted after the 10th of the month if time and space permits. Need help adding events? Follow the instructions in the How To for Affiliates PDF.
