Cultural Org Member Application

If you are a Westchester-based not-for-profit cultural organization offering cultural programming and/or events, you may want to consider becoming a member of ArtsWestchester.

Cultural Org Membership (Affiliate) – A Westchester-based not-for-profit corporation or association with a mission statement that: (1) clearly delineates the arts or local history as primary, both in focus and in actual operation (“Arts” includes developing a skill in or knowledge of a discipline); (2) has been registered as a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)3 status for at least one year; and (3) maintains a volunteer supervisory body, such as a board of directors that meets at least twice a year.

In addition to the benefits listed above, Cultural Org Membership includes:

• An enhanced interactive profile of your organization in our online Cultural Orgs directory
• An opportunity to have your cultural programming included in the calendar event data feeds we provide to such media outlets as Westchester Magazine, the Westchester Business Journal, and Westchester Generations
• The ability to list your events and programs in ArtsWNews, a monthly print publication distributed throughout Westchester and in the Westchester Business Journal
• Representation on the board of Trustee

Annual membership is from January to December, and contingent on the approval of the Affiliate Committee of the ArtsWestchester Board of Trustees. Dues are based on your annual budget.
