Membership for Organizations
Why Become a Member?
If you are a Westchester-based not-for-profit cultural organization or for-profit business offering cultural programming and/or events, you may want to consider becoming a member of ArtsWestchester. Your member benefits include:
- An interactive profile of your organization in our online Cultural Orgs directory that can include photos, video, audio and a link to your website
- The ability to list your events and programs in our online “Things to Do” event calendar that’s searchable by date, venue, genre and organization
- Access to professional development workshops and technical assistance
- Expanded opportunities to network and collaborate
- Discounted ad rates in our publications and on our website
Cultural Org Membership (Affiliate) – A Westchester-based not-for-profit corporation or association with a mission statement that: (1) clearly delineates the arts or local history as primary, both in focus and in actual operation (“Arts” includes developing a skill in or knowledge of a discipline); (2) has been registered as a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)3 status for at least one year; and (3) maintains a volunteer supervisory body, such as a board of directors that meets at least twice a year.
In addition to the benefits listed above, Cultural Org Membership includes
- An enhanced interactive profile of your organization in our online Cultural Orgs directory
- An opportunity to have your cultural programming included in the calendar event data feeds we provide to such media outlets as Westchester Magazine, the Westchester Business Journal, and Westchester Generations
- The ability to list your events and programs in ArtsWNews, a monthly print publication distributed throughout Westchester and in the Westchester Business Journal
- Representation on the Board of Trustees
Annual membership is from January to December, and contingent on the approval of the Affiliate Committee of the ArtsWestchester Board of Trustees. Dues are based on your annual budget.

Associate Membership for Nonprofits – A Westchester-based, not-for-profit organization, group or association that offers cultural programming. This includes such community-based organizations as libraries or the cultural departments at universities (e.g., dance, theater, or visual arts programs operating under the aegis of the university).
Annual membership is from January to December, and contingent on the approval of the Affiliate Committee of the ArtsWestchester Board of Trustees. Dues are based on your annual budget.

Associate Membership for Businesses – A Westchester-based, for-profit organization, group or association that offers cultural programming. This includes dinner theaters, dance schools, and galleries.

Calendar Event Listing – While not a membership level, a Calendar Event Listing is perfect for not-for-profit or for-profit organizations, groups or associations that want to add their cultural events or programming to our searchable “Things to Do” online calendar on a “per event” basis.
