Barbara Sarbin has worked professionally in all forms of Theatre Arts, from Off-Broadway, regional stage, national television and film, to stand-up comedy, improvisation, and street theatre, as well as mime, mask, and stilt-walking. She has a BA in Theatre Arts with Honors from Brown University, and has been a teacher of pre-school through college level classes in theatre, dance, and creative arts, as well as outdoor education courses for over 20 years. She also works with adults, offering workshops, courses, and presentations on the arts of human detection, traditional and ceremonial theatre, and folklore.

Ms. Sarbin's experience has culminated in the creation of "Earth School," which includes courses and workshops for children into a vast range of creative and theatre arts. "Earth School" programs are designed to enhance the academic curriculum by bringing specific time periods and ancient cultures alive through the use of artwork, theatre, movement, masks, artifacts, ceremonies, and games.

"Earth School" programs have been a part of the Arts-in-Education initiative in public and private schools throughout Westchester and Putnam counties since 1999.
