Tarrytown & Sleepy Hollow Arts Council The Tarrytown & Sleepy Hollow Arts Council is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the arts and cultural development within the two villages. Our main initiative is to help build a sense of community pride by developing and supporting arts programs that explore our connection to each other. Our membership is governed by volunteers from our community and consists of visual artists of many mediums: singers, educators, art historians, musicians, dancers, actors, writers, as well as business people who support the arts. Several of our members have links to other arts organizations in Westchester, and our age-span runs from twenty to senior citizen. Through our participation in village festivals, ART in the PARK, cultural outreach programs and shows at local libraries, galleries and business, we seek to maintain a vital presence in our community.
